How JODOA Secures Your Investment
Our Watertight Transaction Process
Every naira you invest is held, released and verified by independent, regulated parties, at every step from deposit to handover.
Eight Steps From Deposit to Handover
Registration With a Security Trustee
Jodoa enters a Security Trust Deed with a SEC-regulated trustee and custodian, empowered to hold and administer title deeds in favour of investors.
Appointment of an Escrow Agent
Funds are raised in tranches and held in an escrow account administered solely by a leading CBN-regulated financial institution, usually a bank.
Contract Signing
Once your payment reaches escrow and is confirmed by the escrow agent, Jodoa signs your contract, formalising the investment and its ROI.
Managing Construction and Releasing Funds
An independent surveyor, overseen by a SEC-licensed quantity surveying firm, monitors the project. Funds are released only against a Certificate of Reimbursement.
Tranches Based on Milestones
Jodoa and partners invest first to reach the agreed milestone, then request reimbursement from escrow, subject to the surveyor’s approval.
Project Monitoring
You receive regular updates on progress, milestones, financial status and performance, certified by the independent surveyor.
Final Handover
The surveyor certifies when the project is substantially complete and meets the agreed standards and scope.
Final Payment and Closure
After the final inspection report and authority approvals reach the escrow agent, the remaining funds are released.
